Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and He in turn gave us the ability to be overcomers - to overcome the power of evil in our lives. The Bible says in John 10:10 that Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
Accepted into the Beloved
If you believe these things and this is what you desire, then with an open heart, right now ask Jesus to come into your life and prove His love for you! Pray aloud:
Jesus,
I don't know you, but I would like to. I ask you right now to forgive me for any sins I have committed (take time to name them). Please come into my life and change me now. I give my life to You. I choose to forgive everyone who has wronged me or sinned against me, so that my sins can be forgiven. Give me the love, the wisdom, the strength, the faith, and the grace to be an overcomer in every area of my life. I renounce every work of Satan in my life and ask that his power and influence be completely broken off my life from this day forward. I thank you and I believe I am now accepted into the family of God. I thank You that by your Holy Spirit, You will begin that work of changing me and renewing my mind as I read your Word and pray and listen for your voice each day! Fill me with Your Spirit and help to abide in You in Jesus name! Amen.
